CowSigns is software designed for handheld Pocket PC devices. These PDAs are brought cow-side on dairies and data is inputted with great ease. After data is inputted, reports can include historical and benchmarking results, which compares one dairy to the entire database, country or state.

RECENT NEWS REGARDING COWSIGNS® 11/10/08 - CowSigns Usage - We have reached a milestone in CowSigns, over 35 users are currently monitoring and troubleshooting cow environment in over 150 dairies throughout the United States, United Kingdom, Mexico, Chile, Brazil, Italy and Iran. 11/6/08 - National Dairy Animal Well-Being Initiative (NDAWI) - The Initiative is a Coalition comprised of producers, dairy cooperatives, academia and allied industry, among others. The goal of the Initiative is to provide consumers with reassurance that dairy cattle are being cared for in an ethical manner. The Coalition has compiled principles and guidelines for dairy organizations completing on-farm well-being programs to perform their assessments, guaranteeing a higher standard of care. It is up to each producer and their processor or co-op to determine if an animal well-being program will be instituted on-farm(s).
